Leadership Mastery for Volunteer Managers and New Supervisors

This two-day, interactive workshop will help participants develop
an in-depth understanding of the true role, activities and
processes of a leader and how to focus their time and energy on
executing this role and driving great results for their team and
their organization.
Course content emphasizes:
• Developing an understanding of the true role of a leader
• Understanding the commitment required for success
• How to establish credibility as a (new) leader
• Linking the team’s activities to organizational objectives
• Setting goals and evaluating performance
• Creating an effective work environment
• Mastering the art and science of “Candid Conversations”
by developing effective feedback skills
• Avoiding common leadership missteps and misfires
• Scouting and developing talent
